Lead Times
All Forrged products are made to order, and are subject to an estimated 1–2 weeks production lead time (depending on the product, the item an be shipped out sooner). However, depending on the product and order size, lead times may be shorter — we’ll always do our best to get your order to you as quickly as possible. We do our absolute best to stay within this timeframe, but please note that delays may occasionally occur due to the handcrafted and custom nature of our work.
Factors such as public holidays, busy seasons, material availability, or unexpected disruptions may impact timelines. While we’ll always strive to keep you updated with accurate ETAs and progress along the way, some delays are unfortunately out of our control.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we carefully craft your piece — and promise it’ll be worth the wait.
Shipping and Delivery
We deliver nationwide using trusted courier services:
- Smaller Deliveries: The Courier Guy, Fast Way
- Larger Deliveries: Time Freight, H&M removals
Collection is available at our workshop in Johannesburg, Alrode South (Free Collection). Installation is available if you are based in Johannesburg).
Estimated Delivery Times (after manufacturing):
- Major Cities & Surrounding Areas: 2–4 business days
- Regional or Outlying Areas: 4–7 business days
Deliveries are curbside only unless arranged in advance

If you have any special delivery requirements (e.g. no elevator, stair-only access, complex entries), please let us know in the order notes at checkout or contact us directly. Additional charges may apply for complex deliveries.

Before placing your order, we kindly ask that you read the full product descriptions carefully and ensure all dimensions match your available space. Each Forrged piece is made to order, and we want you to feel confident in your purchase.

In the rare event that you receive a product that arrives damaged or defective, we sincerely apologise. We understand how disappointing that can be and are here to resolve the issue as quickly and smoothly as possible.
Please keep in mind that many of our materials — especially solid wood — naturally include variations in colour, grain, knots, and surface markings. These are not defects, but rather characteristics of authentic, organic craftsmanship. Changes in wood, such as slight cracking or movement, are expected over time and reflect the nature of living materials.
While our support team is available to assist with any concerns related to materials, workmanship, or courier damage, please note that general wear and tear or accidental damage that occurs over time does not qualify as a product defect.
That said, we’re always happy to offer care tips, maintenance advice, or recommendations for minor repairs when needed.
